About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Monte Carlo Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and train a team of food service staff to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Plan and coordinate food preparation and service to meet customer demand and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Manage inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Youths
    • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
    • Work 40 hours per week in a permanent role.
