About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sandwich Artist to join our team at Subway. As a Sandwich Artist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality sandwiches to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, handle and store cleaning products, receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, and wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) weight handling.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, reliability, team player, and work term: permanent.
Language and Work Hours

Work language: English, and hours: 40 hours per week.
