Job Description:
At Rakesh Majithia CPA Professional Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, keeping financial records, and establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. You will also maintain general ledgers and financial statements, post journal entries, and prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports. Additionally, you will prepare tax returns and reconcile accounts.
Work Setting:
Our office is located at a convenient location with easy access to public transportation.
Computer and Technology Knowledge:
You will be required to have proficiency in accounting software, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, and Quick Books.
Area of Specialization:
Accounting is the primary area of specialization for this role.
Transportation/Travel Information:
Public transportation is available.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
This role requires the ability to work independently, with a high degree of attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and have excellent time management skills.
