At Lake Foundry (2020) Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Floor Moulder to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for making sand moulds using patterns, moulding boxes, sand, and hand tools following bench, floor, or pit moulding methods. Your attention to detail and manual dexterity will be essential in producing high-quality metal castings. You will also be responsible for pouring molten metal into moulds, making cores for use in moulds, and setting up, adjusting, and operating various casting machines. If you have a strong background in metal casting and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply. The successful candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week.
