We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in the Vancouver Island region, British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assessments and develop care plans for residents.
- Provide personal and nursing care to residents, including administering medications and supervising care staff.
- Directly supervise care staff to ensure residents' needs are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
- $45.00 per hour + travel allowance + accommodation + weekly allowance.
- Casual job type with flexible scheduling.
- Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Interested candidates should have a valid BCCN&M registration, a vehicle, and be willing to work in Duncan/Ladysmith/Campbell River. Please indicate your availability and willingness to take up Day/Eve/Night shifts.
