Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced welding inspector with expertise in pressurized vessels to oversee inspection activities ensuring compliance with the ASME Code and quality manual. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with management to direct, coordinate, and control quality activities, ensuring the highest level of quality requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect welds and other related processes to ensure compliance with the ASME Code and quality manual.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to develop and implement effective quality control procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to improve overall quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in welding inspection, preferably with expertise in pressurized vessels.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the ASME Code and quality manual.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
