Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our healthcare division, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory therapy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and monitor prescribed respiratory therapy in clients' homes, ensuring equipment performance and client compliance.
  • Deliver and exchange equipment in clients' homes, which may involve heavy lifting of up to 60lbs.
  • Conduct in-home client visits, including long-distance travel, and provide in-office consultations with sleep and oxygen clients.
  • Promote products and services to referral sources through educational in-services to medical and healthcare communities.
  • Build and maintain high-quality client and referral relationships.
  • Perform all job duties in compliance with safety standards.
  • Support the training and development of new employees as needed.
  • Participate in a regular on-call rotation.
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse with current registration.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience, preferably with CPAP training and experience.
  • Homecare and sales experience an asset.
  • Must have a clean and clear driving record and abstract.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
