Senior Business Consultant (Business Analysis with MiFID)

Sia Partners, a leading global management consulting firm, is seeking a senior business consultant to work on a capital markets project. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams on a range of initiatives varying in risk, size, and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product Owner to create, update, and refine User Stories
  • Gather and clarify business requirements with business stakeholders
  • Utilize monitoring tools to manage applications and respond to business/technical alerts
  • Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners
  • Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into tangible business requirements
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to address rule ambiguities and regulatory compliance issues
  • Experience with MiFID or II rules implementation is a plus
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in regulatory reporting and compliance documentation
  • Ability to quickly adapt to regulatory changes and document requirements
