About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at MALWA PUNJAB SWEETS & RESTAURANT LTD. as a key member of our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet the demands of our restaurant.
  • Food Handling: Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to ensure quality and safety.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Food Preparation Assistance: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to assist with food preparation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for this role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
