We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiological Technologist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, adhering to established standards, procedures, and radiation protection practices.
- Operate Imaging Equipment: Operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and quality control.
- Prepare Patients: Prepare patients for examination, explaining procedures and providing instructions as needed.
- Monitor Patient Care: Monitor patient care and safety, ensuring procedures adhere to department standards and policies.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement and risk management procedures, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
- Perform Administrative Tasks: Perform various clerical duties, including data entry and patient demographics management.
- Certification: Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Education and Experience: Completion of a recognized medical radiation technology program and relevant work experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures, ability to perform radiographic examinations, and effective communication skills.
