Careaker Position at Palliser School Division

The Palliser School Division is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Caretaker to join our team. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor issues
  • Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning supplies safely and effectively
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning and maintenance goals
  • Report any maintenance or cleaning issues to the Facilities Supervisor

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation or willingness to live in the community
