Our Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Distribution Team as an Order Selector. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and assembling orders for shipment, utilizing a powered pallet truck as needed
- Ensuring all orders are picked accurately and safely, while maintaining production targets
- Performing general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Participating in continuous improvement activities to enhance our distribution processes
- Ensuring food safety and food defense standards are followed at all times
- Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
Requirements:
- Commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Good attendance record and punctuality
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced and physically demanding job (considered an asset)
- Experience using a Powered Pallet Truck and voice pick is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions
- Willingness to participate in ongoing development and to be cross-trained in various areas of Distribution
