Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wall and Floor Tile Installer to join our team at State Flooring Inc. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for installing wall and floor tiles in various settings, including residential and commercial properties. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality results and meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in the trade and possess excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and physical stamina to handle heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces to be covered with tile by measuring, cutting, and fitting around obstacles
  • Mix and apply adhesives using hand trowels
  • Install tiles, ensuring proper alignment and straightness
  • Cut and fit tiles around openings and edges using hand and power tools
  • Pack grout into joints and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace damaged or cracked tiles
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Install tile strips
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Handling heavy loads

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience

Compensation and Benefits

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, paid bi-weekly. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
