Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team at Softchoice. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level data solutions that drive business value and growth.

About the Role
  • This is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of data architecture, design patterns, and technical leadership.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Your expertise in distributed computing, data principles, and architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and DMBok will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement end-to-end data architectures for complex applications across various data sources and multi-cloud platforms.
  2. Lead technical teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that meet business requirements.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance standards, security protocols, and metadata management practices.
  4. Stay up-to-date with current data and analytics trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure continued innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 15 years of experience in designing and implementing secure, complex data applications.
  • Expertise in distributed computing, data principles, and architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and DMBok.
  • Strong knowledge of database technologies, data governance, data dictionaries, data security, and Master Data Management.
  • Excellent presentation and verbal skills, with experience in driving architectural and decision-making sessions.
