Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Triple S Transport and Green Earth Road Spraying. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Safely operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly.
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Documentation Knowledge: Be familiar with bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
  • Transportation Experience: Have experience with flatbed, liquid bulk, tractor-trailer, and tractor-trailer B train transportation.
  • Security and Safety: Possess a clean driving record and have undergone a medical exam.
Work Environment
  • On-the-Road Job: This is an on-the-road job, requiring long hours of driving and time away from home.

  • Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
  • Hours: The work schedule is 40 to 60 hours per week.
