Our Mission
We aim for excellence in everything we do, from metal recycling to decommissioning and demolition, auto-parts sales and recycling, manufacturing of solder assemblies, construction waste recycling, and production of customized industrial and mining products.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling activities relating to the prevention of work-related accidents and illnesses for the sites assigned to you.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a change agent for the development of an OHS culture among all managers/employees for all assigned sites.
- Advise and support managers in their various OHS matters.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of various OHS programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
- Carry out analyses of occupational hazards and propose preventive measures.
- Conduct workplace accident investigations and analyses in conjunction with managers, and ensure that the necessary corrective and preventive measures are applied.
Requirements
- College diploma or university certificate in OHS.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Bilingualism required.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between company sites.
