We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Benson Steel. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding operations using FCAW/MIG welding process, recognizing and reading welding symbols, and operating basic hand tools and powered hand tools.

The Role

The key responsibilities of a Welder include:

  • Performing welding operations using FCAW/MIG welding process
  • Recognizing and reading welding symbols
  • Operating basic hand tools and powered hand tools
  • Applying safe methods of hoisting and rigging to safely move steel within the fabrication plant
  • Performing work safely and following established work procedures
  • Performing general tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Supporting the quality and safety programs

The Person
