Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including therapy sessions and consultation with teachers
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy to ensure evidence-based practice
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Alberta
  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
