Job Title: Class 1 Highway/LTL Driver

Armour Transportation Systems is seeking a professional Class 1 Driver for Highway/LTL runs based in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Job Summary:

As a Class 1 Driver, you will drive an Armour branded truck and deliver within the local/regional area. These steady, year-round routes will be five days on, two days off.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive an Armour branded truck and deliver within the local/regional area.
  • Operate a tractor trailer and ensure safe transportation of goods.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record and criminal record check.
  • Minimum two years' tractor trailer experience or completion of a 12-week training program and four-week internship.
  • Ability to move up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
