This role is for a Professional Services Architect/Senior Solutions Designer based in Singapore. We are a high-growth company that values creative thinking and innovation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the overall post-sales success of a customer, demonstrating expertise in multiple areas including networking, messaging, and middleware technologies, developing scripts to compare configurations or automate routine tasks, and writing integration code in Java or C#.
  • Travel occasionally based on customer needs, sometimes globally.
  • Develop best practices documents or other materials for the customer to facilitate knowledge transfer and sharing. Exceptional documentation and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to manage customer expectations.
  • Work autonomously and with minimal direction, being professional and capable of delivering solutions with little to no guidance.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Education - Undergraduate degree, ideally in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field; a Master's degree in Science, Business, or Engineering is an asset.
  • Legally able to work in Singapore.
  • 20 years of experience in application development, integration, or systems.
  • Messaging Middleware / Integration - Understanding of the application middleware space, technical knowledge of messaging products such as IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS/RV/BW, and/or Open-Source messaging like Kafka, Rabbit, ActiveMQ.
  • Enterprise Integration Patterns and Solution Architecture - Any experience is beneficial.
  • Domain Knowledge (from a systems integration perspective) of Financial Services, Telecommunications, Transportation, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Retail.
  • Operations Support - Experience providing application, hardware, and/or Cloud platform support is desired.
  • Application development - Experience developing, integrating, and troubleshooting Java and/or C/C++/C# code is required.
  • PaaS - Working experience with Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, PaaS platforms.
  • Networking - Good knowledge of network layers and topologies, routers, switches, gateways, and their impact on performance.
