About the Role

Astellas Canada is seeking a skilled Business & Technical Analyst to join our team. As a Business & Technical Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business requirements and technical solutions, with the ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

You will be responsible for analysing and translating business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that the solutions developed meet the business goals and user needs.

This is a multifaceted role that bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, requiring a blend of business acumen, understanding of technical architectures, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and objectives.
  • Technical Specification Development: Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications that guide the development of software applications, systems, or processes.
  • Solution Design and Recommendation: Work with Digital and software development teams to design solutions that fulfil business requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, requirements, and constraints.
  • Project Management Support: Assist in project management tasks, such as planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in the testing of developed solutions to ensure they meet the defined requirements and standards.
  • Training and Support: Develop training materials and provide support to users on new systems or applications.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to business requirements, technical specifications, project plans, and reports.
