About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Member Advice Specialist to join our team at Coast Capital Savings. As a Member Advice Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and advice to our members, helping them to achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized advice and guidance to members on a range of financial products and services, including banking, investments, and credit.
  • Build strong relationships with members, understanding their financial needs and goals, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services and support to members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply that knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance to members.
  • Meet or exceed sales and referral targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial services role, preferably in a bank or credit union.
  • Post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course) is an absolute requirement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
