Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various bookkeeping tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping:
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
    • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
    • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
    • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Post journal entries
    • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
    • Prepare tax returns
    • Prepare trial balance of books
    • Reconcile accounts
    • Record and balance daily transactions
    • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
    • Maintain accurate records
    • Maintain filing system
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge:
