Estimated Salary

$55,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The successful candidate will assist with the provision of clinical support care to patients under the direction of a regulated health care provider. Key responsibilities include managing a workload effectively in a fast-paced environment, addressing and resolving issues in a productive and respectful manner, exercising sound professional judgment, and contributing to a safe and inclusive environment for all.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognized program for personal support worker
  • One-year experience in a healthcare environment
  • Current certificate of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire date
  • Previous hospital experience working as a Patient Care Assistant in a long-term care setting
  • Experience working with elderly and cognitively impaired patients
