**Job Summary**
Island Health is seeking a skilled Family Practitioner to join our expanding primary care network in Sidney. As a primary care provider, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team-based approach to primary care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and disease management.
- Work collaboratively with other network doctors to cover clinic hours and participate in community hospital care at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
- Participate in a team-based approach to primary care, working with RNs, Pharmacists, MH Clinicians, and Social Workers to deliver patient-centered care.
- Be on-call for the clinic on a rotation basis, providing after-hours care for patients attached to the practitioner and other patients of the clinic.
- Manage patient home, Doctor of the Day, Fast Track Program, and Long Term Care visits.
**Benefits:**
- Negotiated overhead with the clinic.
- NTP contract includes $75, overhead to be paid to physician to pay to clinic, physician to pay any remainder.
