Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our multidisciplinary clinical team at the Hope to Health Clinic, Research and Innovation Centre in the Downtown Eastside. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients/clients with complex needs, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, social workers, and peers to ensure comprehensive care.

About the Role

This is a regular part-time position, working 0.50 FTE. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, implementing and evaluating interventions, documenting information, and acting as an advocate for patients/residents. You will also participate in care conferences, develop care plans, and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide wrap-around healthcare to clients.

Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
  • Current basic cardiac life support certification.
  • One-year recent, related experience working in an urban health setting, including experience with addiction, HIV/AIDS, or indigenous patient populations.
