Furniture Manufacturing Labourer Job Description

MS SOFA MANUFACTURE LTD. is seeking a skilled Furniture Manufacturing Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality furniture products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers to meet production targets.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Work Environment:

Our manufacturing facility is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling of heavy loads, and physically demanding work. You will be required to stand for extended periods, combine sitting, standing, and walking, and work under pressure to meet production targets.

Requirements:
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling.
  • Punctuality, initiative, reliability, and teamwork skills.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
