Transportation Operations Director

PANNU SIKH TRANSPORT LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Director to oversee the daily operations of our transportation division. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs. They will also authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, as well as coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.

The Transportation Operations Director will establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning. They will also establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.

Additionally, the Transportation Operations Director will represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, and delegate the necessary authority to them.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Allocating resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorizing and organizing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Coordinating the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establishing financial and administrative controls
  • Formulating and approving promotional campaigns
  • Approving overall human resources planning
  • Representing the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Selecting middle managers, directors, or other executive staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
