Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our General Hematology team at VGH. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients and contribute to the development of our hematology services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients, developing treatment plans and prescribing medications as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care and improve health outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in hematology, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Four years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
