About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Canadian Pizza Unlimited. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.
  • Place dishes in storage areas, ensuring they are properly sanitized and stored.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Keep records of food quantities used, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Package take-out food, ensuring it is properly prepared and presented.
  • Take customers' orders, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, ensuring they are properly prepared for cooking.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
