Job Summary

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of building automation systems and HVAC systems, as well as excellent troubleshooting and repair skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and on-demand maintenance tasks to ensure facility uptime and asset integrity
  • Conduct facility walkthroughs to identify and address mechanical, electrical, and other equipment system issues
  • Operate facility mechanical and other systems, including HVAC and electrical systems
  • Manage work orders and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs
  • Enhance tenant and customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
Requirements
  • High school diploma plus trades training or experience
  • Experience providing preventive and corrective maintenance on building equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and other building systems and equipment
  • Knowledge and understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC Systems
  • Strong client-service orientation and effective communication skills
