We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Supermarket Butcher to join our team at GLOBAL SUPERMARKET & TAKE OUT INC.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning meats, preparing special cuts, cutting and trimming standard cuts, wrapping and packaging prepared meats, weighing meats for sale, pricing meat products, and selling meats to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Weigh meats for sale
- Price meat products
- Sell meats to customers
- Grind meats
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Or equivalent experience
Supermarket/grocery store
Security and Safety- Criminal record check
- Fast-paced environment
- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Organized
- Reliability
- Team player
We offer a permanent position with 30 hours per week and English as the primary work language.
