Financial Services Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Services Associate to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our clients and advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute investment trades and portfolio management as coordinated by Advisor
- Provide trade surveillance and ensure accuracy of portfolio holdings relative to the Investment Policy Statement
- Work with Advisor to develop the investment models and portfolio rebalancing
- Coordinate position maintenance, book cost accuracy and execution of corporate reorganizations
- Monitor fixed income maturities for reinvestment
- Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
- Administer estate adjustments and distribution
- Respond to client and related party inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax receipts, account reporting, etc.).
- Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery
Requirements
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
- Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
- High quality time management and organization skills
- Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
