In the role of Program Manager at Ci Financial, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the company's mission of providing high-quality investments and advice to individuals and institutions. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating various projects within each portfolio to ensure successful achievement of common delivery goals. This involves influencing overall project teams, ensuring cross-project dependencies are accounted for in schedule and budget while coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to achieve program delivery according to approved plans.

You will play a key role in the Program Management Office (PMO), successfully integrating plans provided by various IT and business delivery project managers, managing the coordination and execution of large and complex project requests with regular status reporting to delivery teams, PMO, program sponsor, and executive management. Your responsibilities will include management of schedules, budget, and scope, reporting all deviations from approved business cases to PMO and Management as appropriate. Additionally, you will plan and manage technical resources across multiple projects, prepare overall program plans, and coordinate with project managers to ensure activities of all project teams are on track.

You will also be responsible for liaisoning between the project manager and impacted departments to coordinate program support, documenting all program events and milestones, and preparing program budgets detailing budgets for individual projects. To succeed in this role, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and conflict management abilities. You should have certifications in project management (e.g. PMP), a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or Management of Information Systems, and 10+ years of direct work experience in a project/program management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
