Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Hope, BC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to residents in a rural care setting.

About the Role

  • Provide occupational therapy services to residents with rehabilitative, chronic, or palliative health care needs.
  • Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on rehabilitation interventions and advocate for residents with community agencies and funding sources.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop quality improvement and risk management activities.
  • Maintain resident records and reports statistics to accepted standards.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Two (2) years' recent, related clinical experience in a residential, community, or home health setting.
  • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC and eligibility for membership in the BC Society of Occupational Therapists.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
