Warehouse Coordinator Job Description

Pelican International is seeking a skilled Warehouse Coordinator to join its Salaberry-de-Valleyfield team.

A Typical Day in the Role:

  • Receive and register goods in the ERP system SAGE.
  • Perform meticulous quantity and quality control of incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Locate items in SAGE using their codes.
  • Retrieve and fill empty bins from floor kanbans.
  • Complete container handling records.
  • Distribute received parts and packages within the required timeframe.
  • Identify and print carts and pallets for Work Orders.
  • Plan floor space and aisle space for material receipts.
  • Identify and print warehouse picklists and identification sheets.
  • Restock parts returned by production to the system.
  • Produce and print serial numbers.
  • Control component preparation for subcontractors.
  • Produce shipping documents.
  • Train employees on inventory placement.
  • Assign work to other employees.
  • Optimize storage plans for warehouse materials.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Good level of French and mathematics for report completion.
  • Master of inventory management rules and concepts.
  • Computer skills, including scanning, Microsoft Office, and Sage or similar systems.
  • Valid forklift operation competency card.
