We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AZ driver to join our team at All Ontario Recycling. As a key member of our short haul team, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials across Northern and Southern Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely Operate an AZ Truck: You will be responsible for safely operating an AZ truck and trailer, transporting materials to various locations.
- Conduct Pre and Post Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely load and unload materials, ensuring load security and adhering to all safety protocols.
- Follow Routes and Schedules: Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to environmental or route changes as needed.
- Perform Manual Tarpping: Perform manual tarping on loads when necessary to ensure secure transportation.
Qualifications:
- Valid AZ Driver's License: You must hold a valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and driver's abstract.
- Experience and Skills: A minimum of 3 years of experience as an AZ driver in a similar role is preferred. Experience operating 18-speed manual transmission is also an asset.
- Physical Demands: You must be physically able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs and be comfortable sleeping in the truck bunk during hauls.
