About the Role:

As a Night Cleaner at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of hygiene and sanitation in our kitchen areas. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a real difference in the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep clean all kitchen areas after hours to ensure the highest level of hygiene and sanitation is met
  • Ensure all kitchen floors, ovens, stovetops, walls, and ceiling tiles are cleaned and sanitized
  • Communicate and report any necessary repairs or areas of concern
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) while using chemicals and store and organize chemicals properly
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
  • Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to make effective decisions
  • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
  • Ability to consistently stand and walk throughout the shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
