Job Title: Construction Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Rate Me Contractors Ltd. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Crane Operations: Clean and lubricate cranes, and operate them to load and unload materials.
  • Site Preparation: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Paving: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas.
  • Tower Crane Assembly: Assemble tower cranes on site.
  • Gantry Crane Operation: Operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side.
  • Demolition and Cleanup: Assist in demolishing buildings and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
