Job Title: Speech Pathologist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting speech-language tests and examinations, diagnosing and evaluating speech, voice, resonance, language, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders, and developing, planning and implementing remedial programs to correct these disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language tests and examinations to assess communication disorders
- Diagnose and evaluate speech, voice, resonance, language, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders
- Develop, plan and implement remedial programs to correct speech, voice, language, resonance, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders
- Supervise technical and support staff
- Establish group and personalized care plans working as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
