HVS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hospitality Appraiser to join our team. As a key member of our consulting group, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies and appraisal reports for hotel, motel, and resort properties.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or real estate, with a strong preference for a major in hospitality or tourism. You will also possess superior analytical skills, knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and strong numeracy and writing abilities.
A successful candidate will have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, solid analytical skills, and strong English language skills, both written and spoken. Self-motivation and the ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment are essential. Additionally, you should have an ability to travel regularly for projects and hold a valid driver's license.
- Conduct fieldwork, property inspections, and area interviews.
- Travel extensively throughout Western Canada.
- Analyze financial statements and other relevant documents.
- Develop and present reports using Microsoft Excel models and in-house databases.
This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for hospitality, we encourage you to apply.
