Core Responsibilities:

  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping, cleaning duties, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Childcare: Supervise, care for, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Discipline children according to parents' methods.
  • Help with homework and provide emotional support.
  • Organize activities and outings for children.

Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience.

Work Environment:

  • Non-smoking environment.

Work Setting:

  • Employer's home.
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.

Security and Safety:

  • Criminal record check.

  • Support foreign credential recognition.
  • Offer mentorship programs.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings.

Support for Youths:

  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Offer on-the-job training.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities.
  • Provide awareness training.

Support for Indigenous People:

  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities.
