At OKANAGAN POWER EQUIPMENT, we are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform routine maintenance and repairs on small engines and motors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engine mechanics and be able to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and isolate faults on engines and motors
  • Document inspections and tests made on engines and motors
  • Review work orders and adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
  • Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Ability to work on site with no option for remote work
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Organized and reliable with excellent team player skills
