The City of Prince George is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Lead to join its IT Services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive Cybersecurity Management Program to protect the city's information and technology assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a cybersecurity roadmap to ensure the city's information and technology assets are secure and compliant with industry standards.
- Lead the management and maintenance of cybersecurity awareness training and testing systems.
- Report on security alerts and incidents, and develop and implement incident response and mitigation plans.
- Assess the city's cybersecurity posture against common standards and frameworks, and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as the business owner of all cybersecurity-related activities, including policy development, procedure implementation, and technology management.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a broad range of experience with systems, networks, applications, and database technology.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a recognized equivalent.
- Solid understanding of common information and industrial security and IT frameworks, including CISSP, CISM, and NIST.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clear Police Information Check for offenses related to the position.
