At Glass House Estate Winery, we are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Wine Tasting Room Attendant to join our team. As a Wine Tasting Room Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, sharing your passion for wine, and creating a memorable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our wines, including their history, production methods, and flavor profiles.
- Welcome guests to the winery with a warm and welcoming approach, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements in a timely and efficient manner.
- Answer phone calls and assist with booking new reservations or group tastings.
- Describe our wines and the story behind them, answering visitor questions with confidence and expertise.
- Assist with the service of drinks and food, clearing and resetting tables to maintain a clean and inviting environment.
- Contribute to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the winery remains in excellent condition.
- Assist with the display and stocking of shelves, ensuring our products are presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Support the operation of the retail purchase area, providing exceptional customer service and promoting our products.
- Perform other duties as requested by management, contributing to the overall success of the winery.
- Hours and shifts may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
