We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Durabuilt Windows & Doors. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine installation requirements and layout of industrial electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems, as well as other related devices, in coordination with vendors when necessary.
- Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
- Test equipment and components for continuity, current voltage, and resistance.
- Perform routine maintenance on all equipment and keep maintenance records up to date.
Education / Experience
- Diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a Windows & Doors industry in a maintenance role is required.
- Experience with Windows cutting, Welding, Cleaning machine, IG line, Tempering furnace, and Glass cutting machines would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance, CMMS, Mechanical/Electrical systems, and quality control systems within a manufacturing environment is essential.
