Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality food services to our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of food service staff, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Menu Planning and Procurement: Collaborate with our clinical dietitian to plan and develop menus that meet the nutritional needs of our patients, and oversee the procurement of food and supplies.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food service operations meet the highest standards of food safety and quality, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective food service operations, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require a diploma in Food Service/Nutrition Management, as well as a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a similar role.
