Job Title: Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team at CANADA INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials, while ensuring the safety and security of the cargo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
- Ensure the safety and security of the cargo
- Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions
- Load and unload goods
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
- AZ class license
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. The work will involve long hours, including overtime, and may require working in various weather conditions.
