Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a bus safely and efficiently, ensuring the well-being of passengers and other road users.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to passenger inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and safe environment on the bus and at transit hubs.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Class BZ driver's license and have at least two years of driving and customer service experience.
  • Obtain a satisfactory pre-health assessment and vulnerable police records check.
  • Be at least 21 years old and have a Grade 12 education or equivalent.

What We Offer

As a part-time Bus Operator with GRT, you will have the opportunity to work up to 32 hours per week, with a minimum of eight full shifts per month, including four weekend dates. You may also have the opportunity to progress to full-time. GRT will cover the cost of upgrading to a BZ license for qualified applicants.
