Housekeeping Aide Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at the Halifax Tower Hotel / Comfort Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
  • Restock linen closets and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash containers.
  • Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and maintain a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
